Due to the superior, custom tool steel used by PASS, coatings are normally not required. However, special applications may require the consideration of using coatings when a higher
production volume is needed or when special premature wear problems exist.
Four types of coatings work well for these applications:
1.) TICN-coating
for working with stainless steel
2.) A-MAX coating
for dry processing with aluminium steel
3.) C-MAX coating
for working with copper
4.) T-MAX coating
for working with galvanized sheet
